The landscape on Lawrence Expressway between Monroe and El Camino is changing. For years, what was the last plot of farm land owned by two brothers is being developed to single family homes. Last year the Sunnyvale City Council approved a new development of 51 single family homes to be constructed on the western 10 acres of the Corn Palace.

Construction has started and and the homes are slated to begin selling by the end of this year.  I imagine not to far in the near future the remaining portion of the Corn Palace will be developed.  Hopefully they will leave the fruit stand.
